Why players install it

Install

Up and running in minutes

  1. Download a phaseGet Phase 1 from the Files tab (v1.2 or newer). Repeat for the next phases.
  2. ExtractUnzip into the Gears of War 3 game folder, where Binaries and GearGame are.
  3. Run the .batDouble-click the phase's .bat file and let the window finish on its own.
  4. Wait for greenWhen the window turns green, the phase is installed. Repeat for each phase.

Requirements

Before you start

  • Gears of War 3 PC, Project Jacinto v1.1.1
  • 6 to 8 GB of GPU VRAM or more
  • Best at 1440p or higher; at 720p and 1080p the difference is small
  • Lots of free disk space for all the phases

Known issues

  • Transparent objects such as bottles can appear bright white.
  • Some objects that take their colour from the material, like the Lambent Stalk, were left out.
  • Act 4, Episode 6 (Watery Grave) can crash: replace COG_Hospital_Glass.upk with the original, then reinstall later.
