An animated Steam artwork arrives as a few GIF files. Putting them on your profile takes about five minutes. These are the steps; the guide inside every order has the exact links for your artwork.
The five steps
- Download your files. Open your library on DryreL Hub, download the ZIP of your order and unzip it. It holds the GIF files for your showcase and a guide with the upload link.
- Set the Steam background. Get the Steam profile background your artwork was made for (the link is in the ZIP) and equip it on your profile, so the artwork lines up with it.
- Upload the GIFs as artwork. Open the Steam artwork upload page from the guide and upload each GIF file as artwork, one after the other, following the guide for the settings.
- Choose the showcase. In Edit Profile, add the Artwork Showcase (or Screenshot, Featured or Workshop showcase, whichever your artwork is made for) and pick your uploaded files in order.
- Check the result. Open your profile and compare it with the preview. The pieces should line up with the background; if not, check the order of the files.
Tip: before you upload anything, open the artwork's page and press See it on my Steam profile. It draws your real profile with the artwork, so you know how the result will look.

Questions
Which Steam background should I use?
The one the artwork was made for. It is in the guide inside your ZIP and on the artwork's page, and the live preview shows it. You can also use another background, but the pieces may not line up as nicely.
Why does my GIF look still or cut off?
The files have to be uploaded in the right order and in the matching showcase. Check the guide that came with your order.
Can I try it on my profile before I buy?
Yes. The artwork pages have a preview on your own Steam profile, and the free profile preview tool shows any background with your profile.
