Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 12, 2026
Introduction
DryreL Software ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Norna Converter mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
Your media files are never collected. All conversions run locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your videos, images, audio, or conversion results.
To run the App, we and our service providers collect the following limited data:
- Anonymous device identifier: a random ID generated by the App, used only to enforce the daily free conversion limit so it cannot be reset by reinstalling. It is not linked to your name, email, or account.
- Purchase information: subscription status and purchase events (product, price, currency), processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat to unlock Pro features.
- Crash and error reports (optional): technical details about crashes and errors, such as device model, OS version, app version, and error logs. You can turn this off in the App under Reports.
- Anonymous usage data and ad measurement (optional): app events such as installs, app opens, and purchases, together with device information (model, OS version, language, time zone) and, on Android, the advertising ID. This tells us which of our ads bring new users. On iOS this also includes Apple Ads attribution. You can turn this off in the App under Reports > Anonymous Usage Data. On iOS we do not request App Tracking Transparency permission and do not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
- Bug reports (optional): name, email, problem description, and, if you choose, device information and app logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the free daily conversion limit and Pro subscriptions
- Detect, debug, and fix crashes and technical issues
- Understand how the App is used and improve it
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
- Respond to your bug reports and support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Storage and Processing
All media processing is local and offline-capable.
All media files (videos, images, audio) processed by the App are stored and processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your media files on our servers. No internet connection is required for media conversion.
An internet connection is used only to sync the daily conversion limit, verify purchases, and, if enabled, send crash reports and usage data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 5, to the extent needed to provide their service, and:
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect our rights and prevent fraud
- With your explicit consent
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- FFmpegKit: local media processing on your device; no data leaves your device (see Legal section for license information)
- Expo: app framework and app updates
- Supabase: stores the anonymous device identifier and daily conversion count — privacy policy
- RevenueCat: subscription management and purchase verification — privacy policy
- Sentry: crash and error reporting (optional) — privacy policy
- Aptabase: anonymous usage statistics (optional) — privacy policy
- Apple Ads: measures which Apple Ads campaigns lead to installs and purchases, using Apple's privacy-preserving AdServices attribution on iOS (optional) — privacy policy
- Meta (Facebook SDK): ad measurement of installs, app opens, and purchases (optional) — privacy policy
These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union or the CCPA in California), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time
- Opt out of crash reports, usage data, and ad measurement at any time in the App under Reports
On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. To exercise any of these rights, see our Data Deletion page or contact us using the contact information provided in Section 10.
7. Data Security
Your data stays on your device.
Since all media conversion operations are performed locally on your device, your media files never leave your device. This means your media files are protected by your device's own security measures.
If you submit a bug report, we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information you provide. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We recommend that you do not include sensitive personal information in bug reports unless absolutely necessary.
8. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
