Data Deletion
Last Updated: October 12, 2026
Introduction
Norna Converter does not require an account and never uploads your media files. The App only handles the limited data described in our Privacy Policy. This page explains how to stop data collection and how to request deletion of any data we or our service providers hold.
1. Your Media Files
Your videos, images, audio and converted files exist only on your device. To delete them, delete the files from your device's gallery or file manager, or uninstall the App. We hold no copies.
2. Stop Data Collection in the App
Open the App, go to Menu > Reports, and turn off:
- Send Error Reports — stops crash and error reports (Sentry)
- Anonymous Usage Data — stops usage statistics (Aptabase) and ad measurement (Meta, Apple Ads)
Restart the App for the change to take effect. Uninstalling the App also stops all data collection.
3. Request Deletion
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Norna Converter Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- Your device platform (iOS or Android)
- If you submitted a bug report: the email address you used
- If you purchased Pro: the date of purchase (do not send payment details)
We will delete the following within 30 days and confirm by email:
- Bug reports and the contact details you sent with them
- The anonymous device identifier and daily conversion count stored for the free conversion limit
- Crash reports and usage statistics associated with your device, where they can be identified
- Your purchase history held by RevenueCat (your Pro status is kept by Apple or Google and is restored from your store account)
Because this data is anonymous, we may need you to send the request from the device you use, or ask for details that help us find it.
4. Data Held by Meta
Ad measurement events (installs, app opens and purchases) are processed by Meta under its own policy. You can manage or delete data Meta holds about you in your Facebook or Instagram account under Settings > Accounts Center > Your information and permissions, and limit ad tracking in your device settings. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
